Panathinaikos prevailed 2-1 over Olympiakos on matchday 8 of the OPAP Superleague. Mirallas opened the score for the visitors in the first half (37′), but Cisse managed to equalise after a Lazaros cross in the 57th minute. Six minutes later (63′), Cisse scored again from the penalty spot and produced the final 2-1. Papadopoulos was sent off with a red card (62′) after knocking Cisse down in the penalty box as he was about to score.
