PANATHINAIKOS FC, in view of tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League match, against FC Rubin Kazan appeals to the thousands of fans that will come to OAKA Stadium and reminds them that UEFA is particularly strict in matters that obstruct the match organization (e.g. fireworks, use of laser devices). We also remind them that we have been ordered to play our next UEFA club competition home match behind closed doors and this decision has been deferred for a probationary period of three years. This means that UEFA will be monitoring our supporters’ behaviour very closely and we risk playing one of our next UEFA club competition home matches behind closed doors.
So we urge them not to use laser devices and fireworks and to protect the club by safeguarding the sporting and respectful atmosphere around the football match.
