The winner of the match AIK vs Europa (the first game finished 1-0) will be the opponent of Panathinaikos in the third qualifying round of UEFA Europa League, as this was the result of the draw held today in Nyon.
The first match will be held on July 28, at “Apostolos Nikolaidis”, while the rematch is scheduled for August 4, away.
Referring to these two games, the coach of the “Shamrock” Andrea Stramaccioni told the official site of Panathinaikos FC the following: “It is important that we already know which are going to be the teams we will have to face for the third qualifying round of the competition, because now we can be focused on that and work on a specific plan. In the team we have decided to go on with double training sessions for the coming period and to increase our rhythm in order to be ready to confront teams which are already participating in official competitions”.
