Panathinaikos goes back to Scandinavia as, after the Swedish AIK Solna, the draw for the play offs of the Europa League brings them in front of Brondby I.F. in Denmark.
The first match will take place at Leoforos Stadium on August 18, while the trip of Panathinaikos to the Danish city of Brondbyvester is planned, according to the draw, on August 25.
“Brondby is a good team. They have eliminated Hertha BSC, which has a good level in the Bundesliga and had a very good performance in its home game. According to our position in the group of the stronger teams we could have a much favorable draw but this doesn’t really matter. What is important is that we are in a good shape and we are ready to face our opponent when the time comes“.
