Panathinaikos made a good start regarding its duties for this season´s Super League, prevailing, by an impressive 3-0, over Levadiakos in Viotia for the third match day of the championship.
It should be noted that our team had three different scorers; Wakaso scored his first goal wearing Panathinaikos´ jersey and that this match was the debut for M´Poku, who entered as a substitute player.
Namasko, the hosting team´s goalkeeper, deserves a special allusion as thanks to his performance he did not let the score to “branch off”. Maybe Berg did not score this time, though he had two disallowed goals being in an off side position, but he actively participated in all the three goals scored by the players of the “Shamrock”.
The absolute ruler!
Concerning the game, Panathinaikos did a dynamic start, pressing the opponent high and possessing the ball. The team was able to easily create chances to score, especially from the left side in the beginning and then from the center.
Ledesma scored 0-1, before the 10th minute of the game by penalty, stopping this way any kind of anxiety… The second goal was scored by Wakaso, just after the first 30 minutes, “ensuring” soon the three points for Andrea Stramaccioni’s team!
The fact that Levadiakos created just a slight chance to score, in a foul executed by Miliases, which passed out just a minute before the half time, constitutes a visible indication of the absolute dominance of Panathinaikos.
The same story, once again…
In the second half the away team did not reduce their speed, striking this time from the right side, mainly with Mesto and Ibarbo provoking many problems to their opponents.
When Leto entered the game, in the 66th minute, Panathinaikos changed its system into a 4-4-2 in a straight line and the Argentinean player scored his first goal for the season, ten minutes later, in a very easy way for a player of his class…
