Panathinaikos appeared below par in Lamia, suffering an embarrassing 3-1 defeat against the league’s bottom team. The Greens were ineffective offensively, once again missing several chances, while their defensive lapses and mistakes cost them as they conceded three goals to Lamia.

The home team caught Shamrock’s players off guard by opening the scoring early in the 4th minute (1-0) with a header from Tshibola. The Greens tried to respond, creating four clear chances through Mancini (13’), Ingason (17’), Tete (21’), and Maksimović (38’), but they failed to score before the end of the first half.

Panathinaikos entered the second half determined to find a quick goal, creating two major chances. In the 51st minute, Čerin’s header was saved with difficulty by Kostić, while in the 59th minute, after a prolonged attacking sequence with successive efforts from Ingason, Čerin, and Świderski, the ball still did not find the net.

In the 64th minute, Lamia threatened with Tshibola, but Drągowski made the save. Then, in the 71st minute, Panathinaikos equalized (1-1). Max delivered a cross from the left, Sourlis temporarily cleared the ball, but Djuricic fired a powerful shot to make it 1-1, scoring his 10th goal of the season.

Referee Evangelou awarded a penalty, and Furtado converted from the spot in the 92nd minute, setting the final score at 3-1.
