Playing against everyone and everything, Panathinaikos proved to be unbreakable in Lamia and celebrated a great win that keeps the team at the top of the league table. Ivan Jovanovic’s Greens, although they didn’t play their best game, showed character and with Sporar’s golden goal in the 90th minute won 2-1.
A superb goal from Mlandević, a magical cross from Bernard and a dynamite header from the Slovenian forward (he reached 8 goals in 16 appearances this season), led to a valuable win although the team was playing with 10 players due to Arao’s expulsion in the 83th minute. Lamia had equalized with Carlitos in the 64th minute.
