Panathinaikos wasted the big plays created and lost the opportunity to get closer to the top of the Stoiximan Super League. The Greens were superior to Aris, dominated on the pitch, had great chances, took the lead scored a goal against the visitors who in a unique counterattack tied at 1-1.

The Greens also threatened in the 69th minute with Tete, but Cuesta blocked the Brazilian’s shot.
Instead of making it 2-0, Aris – against the flow of the match – scored in his first counterattack of the match. In the 72 minute, Moron found space just outside the big area, caught a drift shot and sent the ball into Dragowski’s net, tying the score at 1-1.
In the remaining time, Panathinaikos tried to find the winning goal. The Greens had a huge opportunity in four-four by Ioannidis in the 81′ and another good shot by Djuricic in the 96′. But the ball did not enter the net, resulting the loss of two valuable points.
