Having the shirt of MVP Marcus Berg into an auction until 3/10 by the online platform of Charity Idols, Panathinaikos supports for a 3rd consecutive year, the important work of the Association against Children Abuse “Eliza.”
ELIZA is one of the few specialized NGOs in Greece dealing with the protection and promotion of the rights of children who have suffered or may suffer abuse or mistreatment and the only one that emphasizes the pre-school age.
FC Panathinaikos, thanks to the valuable participation of our fans from Greece and abroad in online auctions of sports memorabilia of the Club and to the excellent collaboration with Charity Idols, has so far collected the amount of 4,894.84 Euros.
This amount contributed to the great Campaign against child abuse implemented by ELIZA, through national programs all over Greece. The aim of the Campaign is to increase society’s awareness and train professionals who are related with or contact toddlers and youngsters in several ways.
As giving a love hug is worthy and has to last … the Club continues this year as well, in every home match of our team, to present souvenirs from the MVP of the game in auctions for Charity Idols.
Striker Marcus Berg, twice scorer and MVP of the match Panathinaikos-PAS Giannina (18.9.2016), opened the 2016/17 season by offering and signing, on behalf of the Club, the number 9, size “L” short-sleeved jersey he worn in that match.
Through the digital platform, you can also participate in the online auction. The money collected will strengthen the rights and the voice of children who need us.
The auction begun at a starting price of 100 Euros and will end on 3/10/2016 at 22:05
We warmly thank you for your invaluable contribution.
