Through a winning run of seven victories and just one draw, Panathinaikos won the Greek Cup for the 2021-22 season, beating PAOK in the final at the Olympic Stadium in front of 48,000 spectators. The “golden” goal was scored by Aitor with a well-taken penalty!
On their way to the trophy, the Greens eliminated Atromitos in a single away game, beating 1-0 and in double matches Volos, Anagennini Karditsa and Lamia.
