FC Panathinaikos announces is agreement with Jose Carlos Gonçalves Rodrigues for the amendment of the existing contract. The captain will remain in our team until summer 2019.
Born on August 31, 1988 this midfielder began his career at the academies of Casa Pia, being promoted to the first team; where he stayed for three years. In summer of 2010 he was transferred to Vitoria Setubal, for which he played in 26 games.
On July 28, 2011, Zeca was officially presented by Panathinaikos after signing a four-year contract with our team. Since summer 2013, the Portuguese ace wears the captain’s armband and on June 21, 2014 he renewed his contract for three more years.
Zeca has played, up to date, in 205 matches scoring nine goals for the “Shamrock”.
