Nano joined our Club in summer 2013 and played in more than 100 games with the “Shamrock”. We warmly thank Nano for his contribution to our Team and we wish him the best of luck in the continuation of his career.
Nano’s farewell message follows:
“Dear Panathinaiko’s friends,
the moment has come for me to take the most difficult decision in my career as a football player.First and foremost I would like to thank all my friends and former teammates for all their precious help from the very first moment I arrived in Greece, in July 2013.Special thanks to captain Zeca and to my previous teammate David Mendes for the great help they granted me during this so important chapter in my career.
My family and I will never forget the fans and “Thyra 13” of course and that when I arrived in Athens I was unknown, while now I am departing as one more of Panathinaikos’ family members.Without them I wouldn’t achieve what was succeed during these last three years.
A big and heartful Thank You to all. They make me feel dear and beloved! Nevertheless, I feel sad but also happy as a new adventure is now opening up for me, in my country.I have taken a really hard decision.I wish my former teammates, the technical and medical staff all the best.
I want you to know that you have one more friend, who is going to follow Panathinaikos till … the end of the world!“.
