FC Panathinaikos announces the acquisition of the Brazilian forward Luciano Neves. Panathinaikos came to an agreement with the Brazilian team Corinthians for the loan of the player till the 31st of December 2017. Luciano signed a contract of collaboration with Panathinaikos starting from the 1st of January 2018 till the 30th of June 2020, as well. He is the fourth player transferred this season to our team.
Luciano Neves was born on the 18th of May 1993 in the city of Anapolis, Brazil and started his football career with Atletico Goianense. In 2012 he debuted with the first team and in 2013 he moved to Avai. In February 2014 he was transferred to Corinthians. In summer 2016 Luciano went on a loan to the Spanish team of Leganes, where he competed in Primera Division.
In 2015 he played for the National team of Brazil U-23. They gained the third position in the Pan-American U-23 competitions with the Seleçao. Having scored five goals, Luciano was the top scorer of the competition.
