FC Panathinaikos announces that it came into an agreement with the Swede international football player Matias Johansson, who signed a three year contract. We welcome Matias to Panathinaikos and we wish him a lot of success and to bring many titles for our team.
25 year old Johansson (born on the 16th of February 1992) started his career in 2009, playing for the Swedish team of Kalmar FF. In January 2012 he was transferred to AZ Alkmaar for 1,5 million €. He played in the Dutch club for five years, appearing 176 times in total, scoring 6 goals and contributing in 11 assists. He participated 36 times in all European competitions scoring 1 goal and 1 assist. He played 28 times for the “young” National teams of Sweden and 3 times for the first National team of his country.
