FC Panathinaikos announces the acquisition of Sokratis Dioudis. The new goalkeeper agreed to sign a three year contract with our team.
Dioudis was born on the 3rd of February 1993 and started his professional career with FC Aris Thessaloniki in 2011, originating from this team’s academies. He played in 44 matches with the “black n’ yellow” team from Thessaloniki, till July 2014. Then he was transferred to the Belgian team Club Brugge KV. One year later the Belgians conceded him on loan to Panionios. He played 21 times for the Greek team of Nea Smyrni and last summer he returned to FC Aris. He has participated in 104 games totally in all competitions: Super League, Football League and the Greek Cup. From 2009 till 2014 he played with all the “youngster’s” National teams, appearing 28 times altogether. We welcome him into Panathinaikos’ family and we wish him all the best.
