F.C. Panathinaikos announces the acquirement of Tassos Avlonitis, who signed a two year contract. This is the 13th transfer of the “Shamrock” for the season.
Avlonitis was born on New Year’s day of 1990, in Chalkida. He debuted in the local team of Chalkineo and in 2007 he moved to Egaleo, starting his professional career there. He stayed in that team for 3 seasons, playing in33 games, but in the second season he went to to Ilisiakos, on loan, appearing there 22 times. In the 2010-11 season he was acquired by Kavala and after their relegation he moved to Panionios for three seasons where he played in 65 matches. Then, for the coming two years, he was transferred to Olympiakos. He played 25 games for the team of Piraeus, scoring 2 goals and contributing in 2 assists. During the second half of the 2015-16 season he competed with SK Sturm Graz, Austria participating in 17 games. In January2017 he moved to Scotland for F.C. Hearts where he played in 11 matches. He is an international player with the Young National teams of Greece, having participated already in 6 games.
