FC Panathinaikos announces the acquisition of Greek striker Argyris Kambetsis. This 19 y.o. player signed a three year contract with our team.
Kambetsis was born on May 6, 1999 in Athens. He started his career from the Academies of AEK Athens but very quickly he moved to the Academy of Olympiakos. He played for the youngsters’ National teams. Many teams from abroad were interested to include him in their roster and finally Borussia Dortmund was the lucky one. Finally during summer 2018 he became a free agent player and signed for Panathinaikos.

I promise to do my best and through training to get high standards helping the team to achieve its targets», Kambetsis said upon signing his contract.
Kambetsis has chosen shirt number 99.
