Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition of the Spanish defender Antonio Jesus Regal Angulo or just “Antonito”! The 32 year old player signed a two year contract.
Antonito was born on the 24 of December 1987 in Herrera, Spain. He realized his first football steps in the academies of Poli Ejido doing his professional debut, during 2007/08 season, in this Andalusian club. Then he went on loan to U.D. Melilla for one semester.
The next step of his career was the team of Almeria Β, where he played in 30 matches for the championship and scored one goal in 2010/11 season. During the following two seasons he played for FC Ecija, competing in 65 games and scoring 6 goals, for the championship.
In summer 2013 he moved to FC Cartagena and the next season he went to FC Albacete where he remained for two seasons. He played in 68 duels and scored one goal for the championship. In July 2016 he was transferred to Cordoba CF, where he appeared in 27 matches for the championship.
Since summer 2017 he was part of FC Valladolid, with which he debuted in La Liga. He stayed in the team of Castilla y Leon for three years playing in 80 matches and scoring two goals for the championship.
