Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition of the Spanish defender Juan Carlos Perez Lopez -a.k.a. Juankar. The 30 year old player signed a two year contract with our Club.
Juankar was born in Madrid on the 30th of March 1990. He realized his first football steps in the academies of Real Madrid, debuting professionally with the “Merengues” in a home match for the championship, on the 3rd of October 2010, against Deportivo La Corunia. The Galician team was defeated by 6-1.
During 2011/12 season he went to Real Zaragoza on loan from FC Braga, Portugal. He played in 24 games and scored 3 goals for “La Liga” championship.
His next stop was Real Betis – again on loan from Braga. He stayed in the Andalusian football team for two seasons and played in 45 matches for the championship.
In summer 2014 he went on loan to Granada CF where he played in 21 matches for the championship. In summer 2015 he moved to Malaga CF and stayed till the end of last season. He scored 4 goals in 99 matches for the championship!
