Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition of Karol Swiderski from the American Club Charlotte! The 28-year-old Polish striker signed a 3.5-year contract, will wear the jersey with the number “19” and will immediately strengthen the Shamrock being the first winter addition to the roster.

Karol Swiderski was born on January 23, 1997 in Rawicz, Poland. He started football at the Rawicz academy. At the age of 17, he joined Jagiellonia Bialistok and very quickly made his debut in the first division of the Polish championship. He stayed with Bialistok for 4.5 years, until PAOK acquired him on a transfer in January 2019. He remained with the team from Thessaloniki for three years, scoring 35 goals in over 100 appearances in all competitions, along with winning a championship and two cups. In January 2022, he was loaned to the American Club Charlotte, an MLS team. In his three-year stay there, he scored 35 goals in 84 games. His six-month loan in the second half of the 2023-24 season to the Italian Hellas Verona intervened.

He is an active international for the Polish national team, where he has 38 appearances and 11 goals.
