Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition by transfer from Asteras Tripolis FC, of the Greek international defender Yiannis Kotsiras. This 28 year old player has signed a three year contract.
Yiannis Kotsiras was born on the 16 of December 1992 in the Greek city of Megalopolis Arkadia. He initiated his football career at the local team Doxa Megalopolis and continued at SC Falessas. In 2012 he was transferred to FC Panarkadikos and from there to Asteras Tripolis in 2016. For several seasons he played as a winger but during the last years he has been successfully established in the pitch as a right back. He participated in 113 games for the championship, wore the captain’s armband and played twice with the Greek national team.
